Default paint color..

ok so today i was at work and i had to strip the CC off a 03 ford ranger.. that was white.. and i didnt really notice untill after i had all the clear coat off and was masking it to primer it.. but i looked at it and loved the color.. its like a flat white.. powder white color.. no shine at all. and i love the color.. figured it would look good on my sol with a CF hood and slammed on motigie traklites.. but i want to know how would i spray it? could i lay it down like normal base coat then add flatner in the clear coat and spray the CC and have a flat color with flat clear coat? i dont want any shine..

Besides gloss clear, there is semi-gloss, satin, and flat clear. Most good paint systems have a flattening agent and specific mixes for each type of non gloss clear. So its like painting any other 2 stage, but the clear may take time do completely dull from when its first applied to after it flashes off.
