Default BYS Bumper OR

Whats up guys, I got a replica BYS bumper... but latley i've been deciding on just keeping it with a stock front bumper, doing a Si front lip, and of course the same old jdm fogs but maybe get the password jdm foglight bezel that just came out.

or go with the BYS? the BYS replica is fiberglass...

its for an ek hatch. the car is going to be painted moonrock grey most likely.

They only make the replica Airwalker bumper, because BYS has the carbon kevlar lip. ANyway, i'd try that. if you get tired of it, then just throw the stock back on. And post up in this thread when you've installed it/test fit. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=2147888

And just for reference, here's a replica version of this bumper. Looks pretty good imo.

clean hatch

haha, thanks man...

My airwalker fits just as good if not better than my oem bumper. I doubt the replica will do the same though. I have nothing against replica parts. However, if it's a body panel it's definitely worth it to pay the extra money, and get the real thing.

I like the BYS only for turbocharged cars, otherwise I'd go with stick and Si lip

Just paint both of them and decide for yourself,, that way you will always have a fresh spare bumper laying around

You're a sh!thead sir.

I think you should go with the oem bumper, unless you wanna shell out the cash for the real deal. Its not the real/fake debate, I just have seen a lot of bys replica's that dont fit as well.

Good luck

I wouldn't recommend firberglass anything if it's a daily-driven car. If anyone backs into you it will shatter. Polyurethane ftw.
