hey i had a question about how much gas in the std 88 civic can hold
yeah i always pump like 6 or barely 7 gallons and is that it, and it shows when i have a full tank, my gauge is like on 3/4, weird, cause when i pump gas it stops right away when the nozzle can tell its full, what i'm sayin is isn't the ef supposed to be albe to hold up to 12 gallons, no am i wrong
more like 10 gallons, when you get to E do you actually run out ? I can go a good 1/8" below E before the fuel starts cutting out around corners
11.8 is what Honda says. My 88 crxsi starts to cut out at 1/8 a tank above E and when I fill up it is usually 8-9 gallons.
88civic hb std when on E and cutting out around coners 10 to 10.7 gals. But I have never put 12 gals on it never been able to. Also were I live all gas stations are 10% ethonal what do you all think this does to the octane rating?
they are 10.5 gal tank all the way to the filler opening. when you fill it up it will hold about 10 gal max.

You have a 88std? I have to run a full tank of gas because the car starves for fuel around turns after I burn a gallon of fuel during autox.
