Between jobs right now and have a light school load. I was wondering if there would be any interest in me making a batch of wide front fenders for those who need the big tires up front. I have most of the supplies to make at least a couple sets and the free time. I have seen these made for a few cars, but those were mainly race cars and custom made. I would like to make these for the public!

I would be making an OEM style fender to replace the stock one. Material used would be fiberglass and first sets made would be for an EG.

My questions for you:

1. How much wider?

2. Any interest in these?

3. picture examples of what YOU would want.

oh, exactly like those. I saw those posted while i was searching. I never knew they were being produced, i thought they were one off. That definately puts a damper in my plans.

 

Start on another chassis then.

 

LOL... I have an EG and was originally going to make them for myself, but once i make a mold it would be easy to make more.

i don't think "rodney" is producing those anymore. i know he was for a little bit.

I just spoke to him a couple of weeks back and he has a pair for sale. I'm not sure if these are old or recently made.

 

yea, i thought drag, and autox guys would be interested in them... I would mostly want them so i could run a 225+ tire up front with my drop.
