it's fixable cause there is a kit you can buy, but you'd probably be better off buying a new one

it's a darn economy honda, i don't see why people try to repair it.

it's not just a little boo boo, the thing is torn in half

a generic oem replacement bumper is 80-150 buck, i got one for my dads bumper for 80 shipped to my door.

the down time, all the prep work and possibility of it taking a dump on you later down the line out weight this option

You can easily fix it with bondo, fibreglass and resin

That's how i fix my impossible type-r lip.

Yah good luck with that man. Get a new one. Using the proper materials and doing it the right way will cost a bit less than a new one. The price savings and the time just don't add up. I would just get a new one instead of butchering it up with fiberglass and bondo and having it crack later.

if you wanna be cheap, call your nearest junk yard, ask if they can get you one the same color, somtimes you can get lucky. fixing it would probably last for a little while, then you would see it cracking back through, then you would have the same problem. aftermarket or used would be your best bet. have a shop paint it for you, then take it home and put it on

plus, to repair it you would still need to take the bumper off so you could reinforce your repair from behind. you would basically need to repair the indside the same as the outside to make it stronger
