Sure it will fit on the engine but how are you going to make all the other stuff fit? Tranny mount, axles, shift linkage, intermediate shaft, etc.... Thought about that?
There is a reason you don't see Preludes with B-transmissions.

it still would be BAD *** if u got it to work...the h2b gearing rules...it's just ur gas mileage on the hwy would be notably different because of what matpall mentioned:

cruising speed in the mid to upper 4000 rpms? thats seriously gonna effect mileage, not to mention ur max speed would be significantly reduced because 5th gear would max out way sooner. but take it to the track, and u'd own every other lude there that doesnt have f/i.

One of the hardest parts about putting the b series tranny in our preludes would be the shift linkage.
our cars were never meant to have bar shift linkage. I believe the exhaust would be in the way.
I guess we won't know until it is tried.

i'd say that is also one of the big advantages of going to a b series transmission and that it can take the high RPM shifting much easier. I mean you can make an H trans similar to a B trans by changing out the final drive so gearing isnt that big of an advantage after you shell out cash to get the tranny, THEN do all the modifications to get everything to function.
I thought i wanted to make this work out in the future.....but this kit is made mostly for b series people who do the H swap but dont want to go to the h tranny. Much cheaper swap for them.
