Default Mugen Bushings questions and LCA

I am considering swapping out LCA's for aftermarket. I know OEM is as good or better than Function 7. I wanted the Function 7 rear LCA's, but it doesn't seem like they make replacement front as well? If not, which brand is a good replacement for the front LCA? I have the A-spec rear sway sitting in my basement and I figured I would just go ahead and do LCA's.

How much of a difference will these bushing make in the response and feel of the car? Are they all necessary? Which ones are the most typical/important. Thanks again.

It looks like King motors still has Mugen bushings for:

Front End:
Compliance
Lower arm
Shock Abs Fork
Spring Mount
Upper Arm

Steering & Shifting Bushings (are these worth it?)

Rear End:
Compensator
Lower Arm
Spring mount
Trail arm
upper arm inner
upper arm outer

Rear Trailing Arm bushings, front control arm bushings and front sway bushings will make the largest improvement imo. These area areas are the most prone to deflection, which throws off set alignements.

I think it would be interesting to see what differences in the steering feel and compliance could be felt after installing some bushings in the nec areas.

Depending on what your main use of the car is, I would suggest hard rubber bushings such as those offered by Hard Race. Mugen is good, if not best for this particular application but if cost is an issue, hard race may have a comparible kit.

If max control of deflection is what you seek, check out some spherical bearings. I think hard race makes some of that flavor, as well.

And search around the AX/RR forum... this topic has been a hot one for awhile.

yea I saw the Hardrace kit. What all does that kit offer in the way of bushings? How is the hardrubber compared to the solid bushings?

Anyone have input on front LCA's?

Wasnt it whiterocket that did all of the mugen bushings? I'd love to, but the cost makes me wanna just break in to king and take them.

Actually I think your right. I remember reading something about him having them. Ill shoot him a PM and see what all he did. I'd rather not go replacing them all as it would take forever and my hands would probably hate me at the end of the day(s). lol

I'd suggest you call Scott Z. at King and see what's still available.

What are you saying in the above statement?
Especially if you already know that one is lighter (F 7).

Just get the shiny ones ...
You know you want to.

haha Ed....you caught me. I really just want them for looks, hate to say it, but it's true!

I just want to know what a good option is for the front....does function 7 make front LCA's? I can't find where they do. I wanted to go same brand front and back because I'm OCD like that, but I might do different brands just because the F7 is the hottness lol

The HardRace bushings are very comparible to the Mugen units... Here is their link if you hadn't already taken a look around their site.

I was planning on doing this swap out most likely at the end of next summer.
i have already bought the bushings highlighted. I can confirm that as of a month ago, King has all these in pieces in stock.
