I am looking for a cheap alternate to my damaged DC header and everyone claims the Megan is the best cheap header. I always thought the 92-96 h22a and h22a1's were basically the same. Well the Megans over on Ebay only fits the usdm h22. So my question is, whats the difference that only fits the usdm version. I could understand if it was the h22a4
I have a JDM H22 and my Megan Header fits just fine. Just make sure that after a week or so you re-torque the nuts where the two pieces meet, or you WILL burn out the gasket.

hmm. well i asked a seller over on ebay that only listed the header for the h22 vtec 92-96. So I asked, and he said it was only for the usdm 92-96. Other sellers actually listed their Megan Headers as usdm only. So I was curious to find the truth. Perhaps they don't know what it will really fit.

so your saying that i would be okay if i got one that fits usdm. in theory i'd think so. i don't know of any difference between the h22a and the h22a1. there is no point of me saving my pennies for a good header if i will swap out the whole entire exhaust in a year or so when i go boosted.
I have the megan headers for the h22...and there ok. He was right about retorquing nuts at the meeting point, my gasket burnt up and i had to buy another set, and it was 30 somethin dollars! I got had! I also noticed that the headers need to be bolted up in a certain sequance. Where the two pieces meet, its really close to the block. REAL PAIN! Also the shine doesnt last... i tried
