Default ? about Mugen Bushings (Kingmotors) and LCA's

Hey I have a 00 ITR and am considering some suspension work while my motor is out. I checked out Kings website and saw they have these Mugen bushing kits for integras and wondered if all these really did that much, or which are most important for stiffenning up the suspension and feel of the car.

Also, I am considering swapping out LCA's for aftermarket solely for looks. I know OEM is as good or better than Function 7. I wanted the Function 7 rear LCA's, but it doesn't seem like they make replacement front as well? If not, which brand is a good replacement for the front LCA?

It looks like King motors still has Mugen bushings for:

Front End:
Compliance
Lower arm
Shock Abs Fork
Spring Mount
Upper Arm

Steering & Shifting Bushings (are these worth it?)

Rear End:
Compensator
Lower Arm
Spring mount
Trail arm
upper arm inner
upper arm outer

It would be a day in hell replacing all those bushings lol.

I'm also interested in learning more about bushing and suspension in general. Currently, I'm working on some suspension components that failed on my wife's CRV. I hadn't done any suspension work on this car since we bought it used about 4 years ago. When I noticed that steering was off I discovered that the front right UCA ball joint was loose so I replaced both sides. While I was in there I decided to replace the struts all around. That lead me to consider replacing bushings where practical in both the front and rear. Before replacing anything I search around and decided on using Energy Suspension polyurathane bushings. The main points (or really opinions) that I gathered were as follows:

- Replacing worn out bushings will improve the steering responsiveness of your car and possibly correct alignment problems.

- Polyurathane bushings will result in more "road feel". I take this to mean that you'll feel more vibrations from the road. Hopefully, you won;t find this annoying.

- Poly bushings for certain parts are not a good idea. I couldn't discover which ones exactly except for the main trailing arm bushing. The design of the poly bushings is such that it overly restricts the lateral motion of the TA. Notice that the OEM design has holes in the ruber which allows for the metal center fastener to move up, down, etc whereas the ES bushings are solid and would restrict this motion. A spherical poly bushing would be more appropriate but they are expensive.

- Poly sway bar bushings are a good idea.

- OEM replacement bushings are not available for some locations unless you purchase the entire part i.e. lca, uca, etc. So aftermarket options may be the only choice.

As far as Function 7 is concerned I have read that they are very highly regarded. I haven't heard of a front LCA from these guys. Check their web site. Come to think of if I haven't come across an aftermarket front LCA from anyone but I mostly deal with Civics.
