Default Cable tranny clutch work in a hydro tranny?

I was thinking about picking up a 96 EX coupe from my work but it has a slipping clutch. I have a D15 from my 89 DX crx laying around that has a new clutch in it and I was wondering if it would work on a D16Y8 hydro tranny?

crx came cable transmission and 96 ex came with hydro transmission now hydro trans do not use cable to operate the tranny they use hydraulic pressure to turn into mechanical force. So i will say it will not work. But try searching and call hasport if mounts are available. They should have a cable to hydro conversion for d series
