ecu or timing problem??

Default ecu or timing problem??

just swaped in a d15b and converted it to obd1 and it turns on but shuts off when i press the gas?? plz help

You need to provide more info for us to be any help:

What model did it go into?
Which D15B? A D15B2, D15B VTEC, etc...
Any other wiring changes done?
Any CELs?

Well, that's pretty obvious.

You still didn't answer all of my questions yet, chief.

Does the block just have "D15B" stamped on it? VTEC valve cover?
How did you convert to OBD1? Did you use a jumper harness? What ECU are you using?

Any CELs?

So is your car a 91 or 89? you gave two different years in two different posts. The codes would be:

(6) ECT - water temperature sensor

(10) IAT - intake air temperature sensor

(22) VTEC pressure valve

Well, there you have it. You screwed up the wiring, and apparently you have VTEC.

Fix these codes and see if your problem goes away.

You'll need to get a service manual then check the sensors and the wiring going to them.
