CAMS AND UNDERDRIVE PULEY QUESTIONS
I HAVE A 90CRX WITH A OBD0 B16 SWAP. I HAVE A AEM HYBRID COLD AIR INDUCTION, A RSR CATBACK, I AM STILL RETAIN THE CADILAC CONVERTER
...IT IS CLEAN AND FREE FLOWING-NO BREAKS OR RESTRICTIONS. I ALSO HAVE THE SPOON SPORTS OBDO ECU. MY QUESTION IS? MY LOW END IS WEAK! I KNOW IT HAS ALOT TO DO WITH THE LESS TORKY B16. I JUST WANT TO INCEASE THAT INITIAL 2000 TO 5000 RPM RANGE. AFTER 5000 MY MOTOR IS A DEMON, IT PULLS ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE POWERBAND TO 9000RPM. I WAS THINKING OF PURCHASING SOME CAMS AND AN UNDERDRIVE PULLEY. I WOULD SACRIFICE THE TOP END JUST TO GET A LITTLE LOW END BACK. I RARELY EVER GET TO DRIVE ANYWHERE FASTER THAN 85 SO IT WOULD NOT HURT MY FEELINGS TO MUCH. THIS MOTOR IS GOING TO NEED ITS FIRST TIMING BELT IN ABOUT TWENTY THOUSAND, BUT I WAS GOING TO GO AHEAD AND DO IT A LITTLE EARLY. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF MY SHORT NOVEL OF AN IDEA.

If you're using an LS trans, then that may be your problem.
And WTF is a Cadilac Converter? A Coupe De Ville Transformer? Pimpridemus Prime?
