Default Overheating? Anti Freez leak!

I recently did a poor mans type r, in to my EM1.

I had to eliminate a coolent line from the back of the block, it ran great for a week. Yesterday i noticed my temp gauge going up(it was for a week a c) it stayd in the middle then started going up. I pulled over and check the radiator, there was nothing in there. i noticed that the back of my motor wet, i found were the leak was coming from, the iac part. The hose from the top to the black coolent tube from the back of the block. it only leaked when i revd the car.
I fixed the hose, im still having a leak but its minimal

my main question is there any way to find out if theres a block some were in my coolent?
sorry about the whole thing bunched im in a rush

first check the thermostat, it ould be stuck in closed position, but if the front of the engine is wet could be the headgasket.

If you are looking for a blockage in the coolant system like in the motor, all you really need to do is open up thermostat housing and inspect interior walls. if there is a bunch of crap on the walls then it is very possible and wouldnt hurt to fluch it but if you open it up and the walls are clean then more than likely there is no clog. and when checking thermostat wait for vehicle to warm up and check upper and lower hose for temp if one is hot and the other is cold the thermostat is stuck closed.

yah, check the thermostats first. if you're still leaking coolant, i recommend you using the wynn's radiator sealant. it doesnt harm interior components/clogged anything up.

If you're beating on it and it starts heating up then cools back down immediately after beating it (flucuates quickly) then it could possibly be a headgasket. The same thing would happen with my friend's Eclipse. Ever tried a compression test?

I took off the intake manifold off to check for leaks, didnt find anything but i double clamped some hoses.

i filld my reserve tank on saturday, i checkd it today it has lost a bit. can there be a reason for me to loose antifreeze other then a leak?

If you say there is still a leak??? Why dont you trace out where the leak is comming from and fix it? odd

Could stil be a bad thermostat. pull it out and put it in hot water.

Have you properly bled the coolant?
