I have a 1990 Accord EX, and I'm having problems with the amps for my subwoofers. I can't seem to find a good ground connection anywhere in the trunk that has a big enough nut to hold an 8 AWG ground wire.

Anyone else with this body style have any input on where I could find a good place for a ground?

Toss a connector on the end of it (the wire) and tap your own hole if you need to.

 

You mean something like a spade connector or a ring terminal?
I have a U-shaped spade on the wire right now, I just can't find a good place to attach it.

Look at the rear seat area - where they fold down you should be able to see the metal under neath the carpet a bit, I've seen quite a few there, if you really can't find one.

You're obviously going to have to take out some of the carpeting to find a bolt to ground to. I ran mine into the cabin and used the bolt that holds the spool for the rear seatbelt.
