D16A6 in HF

IIRC: There is 0 wiring difference. Absolutely none, its plug and play.
Vacuum should be nearly the same, I believe you can eliminate a couple of things from the HF system, search or look in FAQ might be there.

i know a kid who put an a6 into an hf and had to take the body harness from the si and put it in the hf....was getting fuel, but no spark with the HF harness...dono why though
plug and play.. i have a zc and it is pretty much the same as the a6 in my hf. you don't need the egr crap. and there is a sensor on the back of the si manifold on the driverside that does not get pluged in
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ceyazzie »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">has anyone put a D16A6 from Si in a Hf?? i need help on wiring and vac hose hook up.</TD></TR></TABLE>use the HF engine harness on the A6 - the Si engine harness will not work with the HF chassis harness - the HF harness has the igniter wire in the driver's side connector where the Si has it in the passenger side connector - all of the wires (except one) in the driver's side connector are in different locations between the HF and Si - you will have a connector for the EGR valve on the HF harness that won't be used - if your Si is 89-91 model, it will have a fast idle control valve on the back of the intake manifold that you won't have a connector for on the HF harness - you can eliminate the FICV or you will need to run wires for it - vacuum lines needed are the same as for the Si - in the HF control box on the firewall, you will need the MAP sensor and the purge solenoid - the other two things are for the EGR and will not be used
