Default 97 swap into 90 accord wont start!!!!!

i swaped a 97 motor in to my beater 90 accord. i has to use the 90 power asteering and etc lil pain in the *** nothing really matched had to grind into mounts but thats not the problem i used the 90 distributor and manifold and all. it has a crank sensor from the 97 but the 90 harness dose not have that plug for it so i dun no if its that that wont let it start or its the distributor? never did this specific swap so i do not know wats the deal sounds like its gona start but then u hear the pop out of the intake never touched the timing has 68,000 on motor so pulled out and swaped. so is the firing order like b16 and from the belt 1234 and the distributor 1342 x please any help would be great......

You're certainly going to need a harness, 97's had OBDII computer, and the 90 -maybe- had OBDI. But you definitely need a conversion harness to get the spark and injector pulse to be compatible with a swap like that.
