Default Back seat wet searched (EJ1)

Okay so its been snowing here in mass and didn't realize it until a friend went to sit in my back seat that the seat was soaked!
I tried doing a search on here but nothing about a wet rear seat came up. Any suggestions?..I'm leaning toward it being my rear window seal because it needs to be replaced but is there any other places I should be looking?

oh its on a 95 ej1 if you didn't notice the title lol

That was not the smartest of all ways you could have worded that title...

It's most likely the rear window seal, if it's known bad, like you said.

It may not be leaking all the time, seals get weird with the weather 'n **** since they're expanding 'n contracting 'n such. So sometimes you can't find a leak when you're looking, but then when it snows or something it seeps in.

yeah I don't really care about the title. I just kept it short and simple ,plus I figured someone would mention searching lol.
Now lets say it is my sunroof how can I stop this?

Make sure that it's aligned properly so that it may close and also check the rubber. It's most likely the rear window like Syn said... I can't see the moonroof allowing water to travel that far towards the rear.

The rear drain for the moonroof runs down the driver's side c pillar. If it gets clogged, it can drain into the trunk. If you get water in your trunk, you can end up having it slosh forward and into the seat, eventually soaking the rear seat. I've seen the water do that, though the leak wasn't form the moonroof drain.

Water come in the following ways:
- rear moonroof drain is clogged
- rear window seal is damaged
- taillight seals (particularly on hatchbacks)
- trunk seal

Do a leak test with a friend.

One stays in the car with a flashlight. One gets outside the car. Make sure the inside is dry.

Outside person pours water at a low point on the trunk or where ever the leak is suspected. Inside person watches. If that one doesn't work, the leak is above it.

If pouring there did work, then the leak is where you poured it or below where you poured it.

Keep trying until you narrow it down.

Again thank you to NOFX , and everyone who was helpful in helping me with my LEAK issue.
