does the ARC intake box work with the stock rubber intake pipe? or do you have to buy the ARC intake chamber? cheers

 

FYI, I have seen several EK versions of the ARC box used with the stock intake tube; however, to get the best result (i.e., torque boost around VTEC, and best throttle response), you should use it in conjunction with the intake chamber

i saw an ARC intake box for $600AUD, app. $300USD and was just wondering whether thats good value or not.

 

If it's the DC2 box, then YES, it's a good deal.

 

Yea I think it's a pretty good price for a DC2 ARC induction box too. But what about the chamber?

i'm not sold on the intake chamber, although i do have the arc ek box in my old 94 civic hatch. with some modding, it fit perfect with a stock itr intake hose. someone gimme a before and after dyno sheet with the chamber and without, then maybe it'll be worth the extra modding to get it in, but for now the stock rubber hose works for me.....
