Default Question for the RSX crowd

Hello All, I have been out of the Honda game for a while so don't know too much about the newer Honda models and was hoping you guys on here could help me out....

I have a friend that just purchased a 2003 RSX type S, and I was wondering what is out there as far as upgrades... I had a 1994 integra with a supercharger and other stuff on it, but after checking out his car and searching around on here it looks like the new RSX is a lot different than my old integra.

What is the current RSX's computer management system like, does it respond well to simple intake and exhaust upgrades? What about the products I see from Hondata? How does this new engine like forced induction?

His friend also recently purchased a TSX "not sure what year" I have not been able to find much of anything on the TSX as far as performance modifications go. Is the TSX just not very popular when it comes to Modding?

Thanks in advance!

Yes...Kpro and Reflash...Engine takes well to FI, the tranny may be another story...will prolly bow out when you get around 300hp...
As far as the TSX, it isnt really modded as much as other Honda/Acura's. But there is some stuff out there for it, I'de check the TSX forum to get some ideas...

Where have you been this whole time? I find that quite hard to believe.

With a good I/H/E combo and some tuning, you can easily obtain 250hp (somewhere around there) with no problem.

The GSR, on the other hand, will need more than that to reach those kind of numbers.

Take this question to the Acura TSX forum if you want more information about it specifically.

This car responds excellent to "breather" mods, intake, header and exhaust. Just that makes a HUGE difference.

the K-series precedes the other series because they respond very very well with mods unlike the other series.

Well I don't own a Honda anymore......... So I have been on forums and websites related to my new car....

I have kept up with the main stream news I.E. the new models coming out and the new technology that goes along with them, but haven't really been following the what people have been doing to them as far as modifying them.

Thanks for all the information guys! Sounds like if he wants he should be able to have fun modifying his new ride.
