Hey guys im pretty new to imports.. I have a 94 accord 5 speed with a f22b with 225000 miles and its getting ready to die.... I want to put a h22 vtec in the car. I know for the most part it will bolt up, i just want to know if i get a h22 out of an automatic car with i have to get an ecu for a five speed car.....I know that the transmissions from the f22 and h22 are interchangeable.

 

yes, you'll need a H22 ECU out of a 5spd car.

 

What about the motor mount on the belt side some other information i have read said that there might be the need to relocate? Or possibly purchase a aftermarket mount from hashport????

Ok another dumb question about the automatic to manual conversion, i know the ecu wont work so is it the same with the harness?
