Header vs heat
Is heat from unprotected headers really an issue?
Only 2 after market brands that i know of are designed to hold heat shields, mugan and ricks, i think if it was a problem there would be more available with this design. some offer a coating like berk for an extra 100$, does that make a noticable difference? You can purchase heat wrap for them but its ugly.

First off its header not headers we only have 1.
Second I dont think its going to be an issue. I would play it safe and use some heat wrap who cares what it looks like aslong as it does its job. Plus heat tape keeps all the heat in making the inside temps super hot which causes the exhaust gases to flow out faster.

Not true though as in this application there is one one, thus Header being correct 
Oh and the black header wrap looks great and works very well
See, the black header wrap on the ic pipeing looks very stealth and hides it nicely!

heat wrap do what they design to do, they works very very well(beside rusting a hole if you have a crappy header or live near the coast/salt area), who cares they are ugly or not?
