Default back up camera???

Hey guys I have an 07 NHBP FG2 with navi and was wondering how I would go about installing a back up camera and when I put it in reverse to have it show up on the screen. Does any one know how to do this or at least point me in the direction?

Thanks

You would have to find some sort of universal back up camera that is compatible with the factory navigation system. Honestly I don't know if there are any out there, but your dealer might.

There are alot of aftermarket back up cameras out there, but most of them are only compatible with certain in-dash navigation systems....Kenwood, Pioneer, etc.

But of course that would require you to buy a completely new setup....something you might not be willing to do just to add a backup camera.

Talk to a service advisor or the parts department at the dealership and see if they can help you out.

Well I thought of doing this mod as well. My 07 CR-V has the back up camera that we would need to do this and to my knowledge that same back up camera could indeed work. Both navigation systems are identical and I would look into the harness that hooks up to our nav for the back up camera. Check out your local stealership for the parts you would need for this mod. Good luck cheers

You should have saved the extra $1500 or so thats on your loan now and gotten an AVIC-D3... plus some nice speakers... subs, backup cam... maybe even something else....

Factory NAV sucks.

Actually they are not "Identical" Ive already looked into this and they are infact different part numbers from Honda. In order to get any video on the screen you need to contact Nav-Tv and send them ur navi unit and they can "hack" it to display video.
