Hey guys,
What color Rota slipstreams should I get for my 90 CRX?


Right now I have some old-school (boat anchor?) TSW Stealths, as you can see in the pic above -- first off, pls tell me what you think of these (honestly, I can take it)

Secondly, I was thinking of getting the slipstreams in silver 15x6.5.
Either that or the slightly-darker grey (gunmetal?)

Pls post your thoughts...I gotta choose by tomorrow at noon.

Those wheels look wrong for that car; too rounded. Get something more appropriate wheels for your car's design. MF-7's?

Lose the rear spoiler, and I'm not a fan of those fog lights.

Car is clean though.

i like 92-95 5-spoke GSR wheels. Flat black or Gun Metal Slipstreams would look good too. The wheels you have on dont look too bad.

 

bronze would be tight.

JV, I sure am glad you're bored. Thanks for photoshopping the rims and removing the other stuff, sure helps me visualize

Btw, that picture of my car is a few months old, and the foglights are no longer on my car. However, I *gotta* keep the rear spoiler, I like it too much.

Shoot, I really don't like the looks of the silver slips now. Hmmm, maybe a different model Rota wheel? I just like the fact that they're cheap and light.
If I don't like them 2 months down the road I can prolly re-sell them pretty easily, no?

silver to many people have them black and they would make your car look dirty all the time

i think you mean 94-95 GSRs, but yeah i think those wheels also look great on CRX's.

i think some Bronze C8s would look good.

Your CRX still looks clean as always. Yeah, your Stealths are way out of date... heh. I think Slipstreams look weird on a boxy-looking car like a CRX (or a DA Integra for that matter). But would rather look good would be something with some thinner spokes, like some SubZeros in Gunmetal/dark grey, or even some Katana-style rims for the CRX. Otherwise, some 99+ 6-spoke blade wheels would look clean as well... but they're heavy compared to my SW388 rims and you can notice a slight difference when accelerating hard. Basically, for your car, I'd stick with a dark grey color (gunmetal) or a dark, dark bronze color for the rims.

Yeah, I think you're right. Something about the slips doesn't look right to me either.
I think I'll try try putting some gunmetal subzeros next to my car tomorrow and see how they look.

Hey, what did you mean by katana-style? Can you post a pic or url for reference?
