Roll bar and swing out side bars
i am getting ready to build the roll bar in my integra. Its mostly a street build but i do plan on taking it to some events this year but i do not now what the rule book says about rollbars/ cages. Im looking to go high 10's with it. I have searched and even checked nhra website for clarification but am still confused. Will a 4 pt. roll bar be sufficient or go to 8pt cage? or do i need to add the door bars? or can i get by with out them? If so what are your thoughts on swing out side bars since it is a street car and side bars sux to get in and out of.
You need either a 6 or 8 point bar when you go faster than 11.49 I believe. Swing-out bars are gay...You get used to a door bar fast...I can get in and out of a car with a door bar with no problems and I'm fat.
Plus doorbars that swing out make it look like some cheap carnival ride...

i really dont want to put door bars on it. Its still very much a street car with subs and ps ad ac. If i have to do a full cage i would prefer removable door bars/swing our bars. Is there a way to make them swing out and not have them look like a "carnival ride"? Anyone else....
