if the moldings are shaved
is it possible to bring back the hole slots back?

You have to carve out the bog, but i dont see why not. It depends what process the person went through to cover the mouldings in the first place.

mine were molded over and when i bought is and i was able to sand it out and i put the moldings back in it. i was lucky. damn bondo
