Default best visablity for price/budget?

well pretty much its what the title says, im looking to get the best visablity for the budget, i have stock headlights on a 96 4dr accord and im quite confused because i know theirs hid , projectors hid retro fits headlight housing? and bulbs from local auto zone?

basicly i heard that dont get those xenon bulbs on ebay and what not but what about the ones from auto zone ? those silver stars ultra or whatever whats up with those?

i saw them for $50 and i see how hid can be close to this of more expensive so whats up with the hid on halogen or hid retro ?????

please help

Ps reason why i ask about budget is because im only using this car temporarly until i can get my 06 back on road

but at the same time i want to understand im quite confused lol

personally if I was going to spend time really trying to upgrade the light output I would spend my money on a retro fit HID.

If you are just doing this temporarily and must have some more light output I would just go with some silverstar's or something. They will give some more light output and it's probably the cheapest option, seeing as how this car is just temporary I wouldn't be spending money on new housings or anything like that.

My previous car i went through some trouble with the stock HIDs, the bulbs blew bought some for 125, those went 6 months later, bought for 250 ....so 6 months later u kno what happened again lol. HID systems these days are cheap but dont forget u get what u pay for, thats why the dealer was charging me 200 per bulb, not 75 each. Unless u want to spend alot of money but get an expensive set, go with something like the silverstars, im personally gonna get those really really yellow ones for my car as soon as i get it out of the shop, i think they are made my nokiya, as for the colored bulbs especially the blue ones, they have zero outout lol a freind put them on his car, u should have seen him swear his head off at night when he was driving blind almost. As for osram and PIAA, osram is the manufacturer of the stock original 2000 acura TL bulbs, they were great got about 6 years and 200,000kms out of em(dont forget this was a stock system on the TL), as for PIAA the HID BULBS cost around 500 for the pair.
