Check out some K-series build thread in here or visit http://www.k20a.org.

From what I've seen, it does look like you can use the JDM hood because it's raised in the middle.

Yep.

Or you could go the ghetto route if you've run out of money and aren't worried about your windsheild - SHIMMING!

Or custom cowling. Either would work for you, although might not look the best.

I'm still envious of you K guys.

Imagine how many washers you'd have to buy... Might as well get the SiR hood.

All I needed on my lsvtec.

Yea, you are right... 4 washers I had laying around is cheaper then a new hood.

Personally I like my c/f zc hood

I like my CF ZC hood too. Got it sitting right now also.

I'd be worried about having the latch not holding quite right at the angle from too much shimming though.

It should work, normally you have to cut out most of the webbing out of the SIR style hood, but it should shut fine after that. Your using the Hasport mounts correct?

Get a pic of the motor and the webbing part of the hood also......its kinda hard to tell but it looks like it goes down and not up in the center like the SIR style hood. Need better pics though.....what kind of hood is that anyway?

Keep it off ha ha. Get a stock hood and put a hole in it and get a wrx hood scoop and make it look sick. Or that what i would do or any cool looking scoop.
