Green? Try looking at your CV axles. Motoroil is in no way greenish.

I look under the car and notice the oil leak is coming from somewhere from my engine (not sure where exact though). I don't see anything with the CV.

you really gotta give us more than that bro....if its green and oily, maybe your headgasket is shot and your leaking both oil and coolant. There is no way without you telling us waaaay more that we can help.

Do you have a genuine ITR or just the engine?

Curious, because you're local to me...

Thanks Ya! I don't know a whole lot about cars so I decided to take it to the shop. They told me it was the water pump that is leaking ($700) with new pump, timing belt, and service. I haven't decided to give it a go. But I have a question since I'm replacing the pump and timing belt. Can I also change the t-stat and new fan switch? I'm looking at a Mugen t-stat and fan switch. I know it doesn't gain any horses but it just a good thing when I use the car for daily driving. Peace!

Did you have "sucker" written on your head when you walked in there?

Walk into our shop and see what it costs...

$700 shop rate isn't that bad.

$700 for timing belt change including belt and pump sounds normal retail.

You'll want to get on that and change it ASAP. Since your water pump is run off the timing belt, the water pump leaking will leak onto the timing belt and could cause it to slip and throw off your timing, and if it slips enough it can screw up some major stuff.

And I don't know what you're driving, but I'm guessing it's no race car, so I'd think buying a Mugen thermostat and fan switch would be a totally senseless waste of money. Just replace them with OEM parts and you'll be fine, the Mugen stuff is overkill times a million.

Hey andy_sayers thanks man! Yea, I figure the t-stat and fan switch wasn't worth it too but just a thought. Since I notice the water pump leak I haven't been pushing the ITR that much just daily driving (5miles back and from work) . Would anyone give me an instruction or guide to changing my water pump and timing belt? Including what type of tools and stuff. Any response is much appreciated!

I'd never pay that, there is always other options. What you guys charge in shops / dealers is to cover many other exspenses then just the work.
Find a local guy who has the mad skillz and pay, has to be less-
DIY for the cost of parts and tools, even if ya had to pay someone with mad skillz to assist it's still cheaper then shops or dealers.

Always a way, nothing is set in stone.

Buy the book and see if you think after thoroughly reading you could manage it yourself. It's a Honda...

Both of my POSs are leaking too http://img176.imageshack.us/im...5.jpg

I still have yet to figure it out, but then I could careless... for now.
