Looks like I'm buying an '08 Si coupe tomorrow..
Thought I'd share my interest in them with some of you.. Any owners online right now?

are you kidding me? the Coupe looks 50x better than the sedan. the back end of those are so ugly.
Coupe > Sedan in the looks department

nice nice congrads. yeah you wont regret getting the civic si. I had a hard choice on choosing my car it was between the EVO, STI and the SI im glad i got the si. I own a Fiji Blue coupe lookz amazing. I like both 4 dr. and coupe but i must say i think that the coupe will win in lookz

A BMW 5 series looks expensive.
A Lexus LS looks expensive.
A god damn FERRARI looks expensive.
A four-door Honda Civic DOES NOT LOOK EXPENSIVE.
The Fa5 is functional? Yes it is. And so is the COUPE....it's functional in the performance department.....which is what it was designed for.....just like the Fa5 which only adds the compatibility of four doors. Both of these cars have their advantages and disadvantages.
And shame on you for thinking another car is better just because it "looks" a certain way.

some one said sports cars are 4doors sti, evo or sumthin....NO 2door vette viper lambo all 2door. not gonna lie hondaman ur rite hell of a lot more room and the 4 door is nice as well i own a 2door.

I had a 60 year old man spend about 30 seconds complimenting me on my car....while we were driving. The sedan isn't the only head-turner out there. Both of these cars turn heads.

That's a dumb comparison. Those cars don't look alike at all. Body lines are way different. Rear quarter glass is different. Front windshield on the Coupe is much more swept back. Trunk design is different. Rear lights are different.

Hey funny guy you DO know that the Civic was the first to have the re-designed body style BEFORE the Ford Focus right? So if anything Ford made a lame attempt to copy Honda with that design. And as you can see it didn't turn out to well. There are dozens of cars out there on the market that you could compare with another car in terms of LOOKS. But that doesn't mean ****.
If someone out there thinks a car is better just because it LOOKS a certain way....then they are a complete moron. Case and point, the 1988 Pontiac Fiero. Looks fast right? But get down to the nitty gritty and you'll realize it's a turd...with the V6 GT model pumping out a whopping 135HP out of a 2.8L engine. If you or anybody else bought a Honda Civic sedan because it "looks expensive" then you are sadly mistaken and a complete fool. Why? Because in the end it's a Honda Civic Si sedan and nothing more. a 22Kish car and nothing more. And in the end everybody will know it's a Honda Civic and not a high-roller "baller status" car.
When have you ever heard of someone going up to a salesperson and tell them..."Hey...that 4 door civic looks pretty expensive....i'll take it!" Exactly....never! Why? Because above all else...you buy the sedan for it's flexibility in having 4 doors and the ability to carry passengers more comfortably with the 4 doors. Or the ability to be able to throw the groceries in the backseat with easy access to them.
It's not a better car than the Si coupe....nor is the coupe better than the sedan....the sedan is just a different version of the car available to a different group of people. The group that prefers that type of car. So whoever has it in their head that it's a better car because it "looks expensive" better get it out of their heads fast....cause you will never see it in a rap video.
That's all there is to it.
