I went 10.14 @ 147mph... pushing for the consist 9's.....

 

You've gotta start reving that thing higher man, i can hear it bogging a little on each shift. Little things like that can make a significant difference in ET.

 

Are you not running wheelie bars?

 

Im going up to 9300rpm's and launching at 7700... I plan on getting wheelie bars soon..

 

there are some decent cams in that car ? it doesnt make power to 10.5 at least ? or 11k ?

what trans do you have ?

 

SEEMS LIKE YOUR GEARING MAYBE WRONG OR THE TUNING IS OFF.

 

Im running GSR Tranny with cuff and I don't like taking the motor up that high.. I really built it for fun.... I haven't had a car with this much power but I can drive.

 

how many pass's are on the car now ? 10 ?

 

7 1/4 mile and 10 1/8mile trips in the car...

 

I wouldn't expect the trans to hold up for long if you keep launching like that....

Car looks good though.

WFT are you talking about? Not trying to be an *** but everything in my car was put together thru Tony1's advice.. so if Yall don't think the tranny will last.. tell me why? btw I bought all competitve parts for this setup...I didn't short change anything...

 

Not bad considering what your shifting at .. , Some more seat time will bring those E.T's down ..

the launch did not look that bad to me.. i must have replayed it 20 times.... it all comes with seat time in the car, its obvious that you arent going to go out and get it perfect on your 1st couple of pass's. although it would be nice, its not that easy.

dont let these people get to you. some of them never had the chance of driving something like this and dont have the 1st clue on what it takes...

Yay, you built it for fun! That is good to hear. There are way to many people focused on building the baddest machine out there which is cool, then they never run it because it never gets finished because it wont be competitive, and if you dont go out and have fun what good is it. I like building cars but half the fun is taking your car out and running it. Get you some seat time like Dave said and that machine will be a nice competitor. I know if you had T1 involved you have something good. Good luck.
