Default B-swap into EJ8 questions

Ok, I will be doing an ls/vtec swap with a gsr transmission soon so any help is appreciated.

1. Which stock mounts would i need from which cars in order to drop it in?

2. Which AC bracket do I use?

3. Do I need to upgrade anything else? (i.e. radiator, any kind of power steering components, etc....)

4. Running the SOHC vtec harness with a chipped p28 (no knock sensor), will i need to run any additional wires?

5. Which radiator hoses should I buy?

Any other info i should know?

1. Use the B16 mounts or the hasport kit.

2. B16

3. I believe the hose that connects to the power steering pump has different ends.

4. Depends which head/block you are using. (you didnt mention so I cant comment) Look at this thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=558245

5. Use any B series

Go easy on the LS/VTEC. A lot of people praise them and a lot of people hate them. They will last depending on how you build/treat them.

Here is my experience:

1. You can use all your existing mounts. But, you will need to change three brackets: Rear T bracket, Driver's Side engine bracket from an 99/00 SI (easiest) and the Upper Tranny Bracket which you can reuse from the D16 tranny.

2. With the A/C bracket, get the one from a 99/00 SI.

3. You don't have to upgrade anything, but it would be wise to inspect all you hoses and hard lines while you doing the swap. Exception to PS Pressure Hose IIRC.

4. Since you say it is an EJ8 ( I have the same car ), if it is the manual, it is pretty straight forward. You may have to swap/rewire a few plugs: Alternator and CKF sensor to work. If it's an auto, you will have to rewire the IACV from 3 wire to 2 wire and may have to wire the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch together at the jumper harness (that would be done on the jumper harness).

5. You want to buy the radiator for 94-01 Integra or 99/00 SI. I got the SI one's because I assumed they would the proper length being a similar chassis.

There are numerous threads, just hit up the search function for more info.
