i like to request some set ups with toda cams
i was looking through the all motor set up thread and didnt see that no one had the toda cams, i like to see if anyone has or can find set ups with them,
from the spec a, b, c, to the vtec killer ones
i just recieved the spec b ones yesterday and just wanted to see what i can expect to make out of them

B19cpoue has made allot of power with his Toda C's, ATS*Mark made I wanna say 220ish whp with a 87x84.5 and Toda B's.

I would have to say tuda b might be a little over kill on a b16 >>>> but what is the rest of ur set up and people can help u more.... i know that tuda cams like high cp motors...

Supertech valvetrain
USDM Type r pistons
Blox intake manifold
AEM sr intake
dc sports 4-2-1 header
custom 2 1/2" exhaust into a magnaflow turbo muffler
minor port job on the exhaust side of the head
ARP head studs and rod bolts
I haven't had it tuned. I'm running on a basemap from pherable.net. I plan on getting either a toda header (if i can find a deal) or a hytech replica and then tuning the beast. I'll probably need to get injectors also.
I'd have to say that these cams have some awesome midrange and good top end to about 8500 or so. I was waiting to get it tuned so i can post up the sheet and get a little more first hand experience of toda cams on H-T.

Are there other cams that don't like compression?? I heard OBX cams like the most compression over anyone else....like 22:1 or somethin like that!?

i really wanted to get the flat faced valves but i already had the head in and out of a machine shop 3 times so i just stuck with the oem valves. the retainers are nitrade. so far no issues other than an oil leak from the cam seal and not having it tuned yet. i've got like three thousand miles on it shifting at 4.5 95% of the time...i really need to get it tuned
