Who says this grouding is right?
even stock one come with left on the picture~~
and if the right one is right how do you prove it?
and where to get the jdm throtlle cable bracket? what do they do?

The valve cover has no physical connection to metal. hence it wont be able to provide a ground
JDM throttle cable loops all the way around the front of the engine bay to get to
the right side of the car for right hand drive

the ground strap must be under the valve cover nut so that it can ground the
engine to the chassis. if its bolted to the cover then it wont be touching the
engine.

Actually, if I remember correctly, the bolt that the valve cover acorn nut threads onto comes right out of the head. So wouldn't the metal to metal contact ground the head/block to the chassis?
The left picture is definitely incorrect becuase that is only grounding the valve cover to chassis ground. And the valve cover sits on rubber so no electrical contact with the head.

I'm jus a caveman. I fell in some ice and was later thawed out by your scientists. Your message boards frighten and confuse me...

Phil Hartman RIP and Caveman Lawyer Roxorz
And yes the pic above is correct the correct spot is pictured on the right
flux i seriously doubt it came like you said its just really easy to think it goes the other way and once its off you can get confused. Trust me I work at the dealership and have seen hundreds off tegs. And its in the helm manual just look at the pictures in the ETM in the back and you can see that it goes the the valve cover retaining nut so it can ground the front bulkhead to the engine bay. Trust me we've had our share of weird electrical gremlins that drove us nuts until we noticed the obvious bad ground.

I think we are getting confused with all the left hole/ right pic, left pic/right hole deal...
