Default need a newer sportbike rolling chassis

I need a newer (1997+) sportbike chassis for my KZ

I want to modernize the bike with some better forks and convert the rear to a monoshock setup with use of a newer swingarm. I also want to go with wider wheels and of a more conventional size. I pretty much need the entire front end, controls, clip ons and complete rear end. I plan on making my own steering head and mount for rear swing arm. I will probably need to make an extension for the sprocket and a custom sprocket cover to allow for a wider wheel. I just need a parts chassis to start with so that I can know where to start.

if anybody can help me out please let me know.

Check other more bike specific forums, and look for parts bikes. You can easily find complete front ends (forks, triples, clip-ons, wheels, rotors, ect) as well as swingarms and pretty much any other motorcycle part you want. The internet is a powerful tool. Here's some links to get you started:

http://www.google.com
http://www.ebay.com
http://forums.13x.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=12
http://www.cbrforum.com/
http://cbrworld.net/forums/default.aspx

I suggest you research what kind of parts you want (from what bikes) and then use something like google to find forums specific to that bike. I have listed two Honda CBR forums, but you can try gixxer.com, kawiforums.com, r6forum.com, ect. I would say the WERA forums will be the most relaible source for parts.

Good luck
