mileage gauge

when you replace motor in any honda like a b16a swap does the guage go to how many miles the engine has or thats only with subies cause thier digitial.?

milage is stored in ECU and CLUSTER on newer models and clucter only on older analog models. replacing the engine or trans has no effect on this

so basically an 97 accord dx won't tell me the miles it will start from whatever i left off of right.
