Default Need HELP changing my dash!

Ok... so my friend broke my glove box right off the dash of my '90 hatchback. There is a dash at the local junkyard and its the same color (blue) but its from a wagon. I have heard that 4-door dashes are totally different, and I know that 88-89 is totally different, so what dashes bolt up to a 90-91 hatch? CRX? Wagon? 4-door?

They are different.

But are you trying to tell me you couldn't find a 88-91 civic/crx blue glovebox? There must be 10 of those at my local junkyard.

If I could, I wouldn't be on here asking. There is one junkyard that probably has one but they are absolute rape artists and will probably try to charge me $300

The only thing that will truly bolt up fine is the 90-91 hatch dash.

You answered earlier hatch dash questions, the CRX won't fit quite right but with some searching an a few brackets I hear is OK but fitment near the door panels isn't supposed to be great.

I'd fix the glovebox if I were you.

A crx dash will fit fine and i have seen them in blue all over the junk yard. i have a crx dash in my hatch and there are no fitment issues. Check out ebay for a blue glove box there has to be some thing around.

Thanks guys! It broadens my choices a little bit. Unfortunately, there is no hope for the one I have but this is very helpful
