Default advance timing

I did search, but most of the results didn't help since most people were curious to know If advance timing will make more power or not.

I advanced my timing to 18 degrees and i want to know if its safe to run my car with 91 octane. My motor is a JDM B18C-R with only I/H/E/test pipe.

But once in a while i do fill up 95 OCTANE.

Default Re: advance timing (Fat Chick Magnet)

lower octane- lower timing. most of the time.

You do know there is a sticker under the hood that shows the timing But then your car is not stock, so the best this to do is get it tuned on a dyno to get best results.
