Okay.
besides all the other problems i've posting about.
there is 1 other one that i failed to mention.

My 88' Carburetor CRX will idle on it's on for maybe a minute then wants to shut off.
could it just be the idle control on the carb.

or is there more involved help please!

Another idle issue. Check that your cooling system is bleed so the trapped air escapes and that's why you hear vrrromm cough vrooom cough vrooom then shuts off.

 

could it possibly be the timing?

it'll run for a minute and then just wanna shut off unless i push in the accelerator and rev it up some.

 

You have a carburated 88 rex? What kinda engine you got in it?
