I bought used dc5 and I was trying to find the code of my engine
I think I might have k20a engine, but I can't find the code
can you show me where is the location on the engine
Some pics will be very helpful

It's k20a2

 

it should be on the block and it should read K20A stamped on the block

 

My engine looks exactly just like the one on the picture shown above. I will check later and I will let u know

there's a sticker on the left side from the valve cover, looking from the hood side, it will tell you. Just because you have a red valve cover doesn't mean you have a k20a. You can look at the IM and look at a k20a2 IM and tell if it's actually a k20a2 or k20a. then again other person could of changed the IM to a k20a.. the only sure sure way is that code.
