Recently I saw pics of a local S2000 with a gauge on the drivers side on the OUTSIDE of the car on the hood

Anyone know anything about this?

Why would you want that when you could have them in a better spot...

 

its actually not a bad spot, they used to come like that on some old school muscle cars so you dont have to take your eyes that far off of the road when you're racing

yes, alot of muscle car has those, they are great for the eyes since you don't have to re-focus your sight everytime you want to see it

we don't drive muscle cars though

and i believe they mount them in the reverse cowl...not on the outside driver side

since i'm on a 10 post per day limit, i will refrain from flaming the OP

i am just saying where it came from, do you really have to suck every last dick in the universe?

not all are mounted in the reverse cowl, alot of them just mount with a cup(usually two for some reason) on the hood.
