Gauge cluters are off!
So I took off my indiglo gauges(previous owner)... in the process of removing the crap, I accidentally moved the needles and now my my speedometer and fuel needles are off. My temperature and rpm needles may be off too but I'm not sure. I had my friend run at 70mph so I could see what my speedometer would read. There was a 10 mile difference and my speedometer read 80mph. Anyway to fix this? thanks in advance
For the speedometer, pull the needle and reinstall to compensate. Get a GPS device to measure speed in the car. It is an iterative procedure.
You will need to guess a bit on the fuel. Try filling the car and installing the needle where you think it should be.
For the tachometer. You will need to connect an external tachometer or an OBD scanner that displays RPM to adjust the needle position.
