1989 saleen mustang
I purchased this car and wanted to keep it long term but things have changed so I'm thinking of letting it go. I just put in a new gt40 crate motor w upgraded gaskets, tko tremec 600. that tranny can hold 600 pounds of torque!
this car hasn't been dynoed but i'll tell you it has a lot more ***** than stock.
about 125k on the odometer but 600 miles on the power train. spent over $15k last month in mods. see my list of parts then don't forget to add labor. I missed all the little stuff too which adds up.
it is a genuine Saleen, not a clone. I have verified the VIN w Saleen when I bought it a few months ago. it's number 52.
here's a list of the major parts. ALL THINGS LISTED ARE BRAND NEW WITH 600 MILES ON IT.

160 amp 1 wire alternator
Walbro 255# fuel pump
new fuel sender
new hoses
new power steering pump
new egr valve
new tps
new waterpump
many new oem engine parts
a/c retrofitted to r134a
body is in good condition. the car has been repainted and it's a decent paint job. NO rust. been a california car. also clean title. the front spoiler was replaced by the previous owner who didn't know about model year changes. he put in a 90-93 front spoiler. Hardly noticeable but only true Saleen enthusiast would recognize. Interior seats and door panels were redone so it's good as new. The fender antenna was also shaved off.
selling for $13k!!! i have $21k into it.
