Winter Track Time - Sebring Jan 19-20 Pics

I got back earlier today and had a blast at Sebring, even though it was my first time there.
Suprisingly it was a real hard and technical track and I hated it at first. But once I got use to it a little bit it was awesome.
Not only was tracking the car awesome, it ended up being a badass weekend due to the fact that there were some insanely badass cars at Sebring due to the Rolex cup this coming weekend at Daytona. We got to see some sick porche's, vipers, vettes, and bmw's, and tons of other vehicle's.
The only thing that sucked about the weekend was the weather on Sat night. Everyone there was a baller and either got a hotel room or was in an RV/Camper or something that was badass. So we (Henry and I) were the only true campers.
Well lucky for us we ended up having some where along the lines of 30-40 mph winds with rain. Unfortunately my tent couldn't handle this disaster and decided to collapse on me while literally minutes after I fell asleep. So I evacuated my tent during this monsoon saving my pillow and made it to my car where I spent the majority of the night. Then on top of that the weather gods decided it would be nice to drop the temps to the 40's around 3am. So I wake up freezing cold because I left all my warmer stuff at home.
Some how we survived the night and we had a nice shout out by the announcer giving us props on the loud speaker for making it through the night.
All in all it was a great experience seeing all these sweet cars. And if anyone has the opportunity to make it out to this event next year you definetly should. You'll be running around on track with some serious cars.
I was on track in the intermediate group with plenty of porchse's, vettes, bimmers, etc. Even though I got rolled repeadetly on the straights, I was able to hold my own for most of the turns which was badass and even recieving a few compliments when some realized my car was FWD with only 131whp.
Well on to the pics, here's what I took (Ill upade this thread later when I get my picture CD with the pro photographer's pics) and im sure Henry will post some pics (plus he has some track pics of me)

hey man just would like to congratulate you along with everyone else.....me and a friend went to the Homestead event a few weeks ago just to check it out...looks like a lot of the same cars attended at sebring that we saw down in miami. I was just curious about the camping thing, could you tell me exactly what you did because my friend and i just can't shell out the cash for a hotel at every event. I wasn't aware you could stay at the track with a tent. My question in more detail would be, did you both drive there the night before and camp out and then go to tech in the morning or did you just show up for tech and camp out for the remaining day.....if you could share it would be greatly appreciated and we will probably be seeing you at future events in a tent also. Thanks for your help in advance.

Hell yea, we'd have a good time out there. Watching those cars race was nice, it was crazy seeing some of those cars get damaged. One vette took out a tire wall, and a newer porchse and vette both lost a rear bumper along with some small misc damage.
And the event is free for any spectators.

Let me know when you run this place and ill come out as well. Its an awesome track and not as bumpy as I thought.
And yea the amount of money that was out there that these race teams had was insane.

Well im not sure how it exactly works at every event or other tracks cause I haven't been to homestead or moroso yet.
At first I wasn't sure even if we were allowed to camp at Sebring but I called up the contact person for the person hosting this event and asked. They said it was allowed but there might be a charge like 20 bucks but wasn't sure. Well it ended up being free.
We got to the event at roughly like 2 in the morning and did tech on Sat morning. They did have tech on friday afternnoon but there was no way I was going to make it.
Basically just call one of the event organizers and see if camping is allowed.
