FS / FT: 1992 Toyota Supra Turbo 5 spd. / Sunroof
I CANNOT believe i'm doing this, but at this point in my life, i just can't hold on to this car. It is by no means a junker, but it does need a few things to make it perfect, which is what i would love to do, but just can't afford at the time. SO, here it is. Up for sale. I'll admit this is really a feeler at the moment as i might still fix the few things it needs, but it would really make more sense for me to drive something that needs less attention while going to school and looking for a new job.
Specs:
1992 Toyota Supra Turbo
5 Speed / Sunroof
170k original miles

CLEAN carfax. I have full history of the car including the original paperwork from 1993 when it was first purchased.
Clean blue title in my name in hand.

* Alpine CDA-7894 CD/MP3 player

* JL Audio e6750 6 channel amplifier
Exterior:
* 3 Stage PPG Black paint (Color change from Teal Metallic)
* Bomex 3 hole lip
* Shaved antenna
* Euro/JDM yellow fog lights
The bad:
*The motor currently has a random leaky front crank seal. Not horrible, but enough to warrant monitoring of the oil level. I usually add half a quart every few days or so if that.
*It also needs a new fitting or hose on the fuel pressure regulator since it's currently running a rubber hose and would probably benefit from a braided one. Fine as is, but just as a precaution.
*It could use new ball joints as it has a shake over 55 mph. Nothing serious, just an annoyance really.
*Finally, the driver's seat is a bit worn after 15 years.
That said, this car is really a gem. All the electronics and lights on the car work. TEMS suspension, cruise control, ICE COLD A/C, heat, lumbar support, climate control, power steering, and even the factory alarm. The stock turbo still spools perfectly and actually has almost no shaft play at all and burns no oil or coolant. The paint is only a month old.
Unfortunately, due to my current situation, i'd really need to sell or trade this car locally. Otherwise, the buyer would need to make all the arrangements for shipping...although i'd much prefer it if the buyer actually saw the car before purchasing it. Any questions, please feel free to ask.
As far as trades go, i'm looking at good to mint condition Civics, Integras, Preludes and the like. MUST be a 5spd. and have A/C. Done enough summers here in Texas without it.
Straight out, i'd let her go for $6500 firm.

Thanks for looking.

Yes, i would trade for a GSR. Info and pics please.
As far as numbers, the engine is internally stock, but it's got full straight 3.3" exhaust, bigger hard intercooler pipes (and intercooler), and running 12psi (up from 7)...so from a stock 232, she's probably at around 260-275. I've heard just opening the exhaust giving upwards of 20-30 hp on these (2.5" stock with 2 cats and two mufflers) and an additional 2-3 psi.
If you were to add 550cc injectors with a bigger fuel pump and a Lexus V8 air flow meter, it's VERY easy to pass 300hp on a stock motor.
It's never been dyno'd so i really don't know. It screams on the highway, though. faster than a stock 350z i know for sure.

Mines really needs a paint job lol which im working towards. Otherwise im replacing some parts too at the moment. It runs great at 152k miles now. Its a '94 soo yess OBD1 and its got the '98-01 front end, rear bumper, and tail lights with an OEM type R front lip. The newer body panels are championship white (came from a '00 ITR) and the rest of the car is milano red. Trying to finish up the emblem and spoiler shaving in the rear than I plan to repaint it red again. Black interior and has a/c, p/s, and all electronics work. I do plan to sell it after everythings straightened out, but Im no sure what I want yet. Those pics you posted make it very tempting.
