Interior lights stopped working suddenly
I have a 98 RS and I was sitting in my car today fiddling with the OEM CD deck with the little anti-theft blinking red light crap. I tugged on the deck cause I wanted to pull it out of the din and look behind the deck at the wiring and all of the sudden my cluster lights turned off and all my climate lights turned off.
They wont turn back on regardless of the headlight setting. Could this be a blown fuse or something?

sounds like you blew a fuse but befrore you replace it check the wires behind the radio that none are broken or split from whem you pulled on it if they are fix them first or the fuse will continue to blow
that happened to me
but because i was pulling the cluster.
1. make sure wires are securily connected and protected
2. replase fuse in fuse box
3. be more carefull!
i hope im help

You blew a fuse, look in the fuse box under the steering wheel to the left. I think its a 7.5 or 10 amp fuse not for radio but interior light or something of that name, it happened to me before.
i did the same thing wen it hapened to me in my DA my tailights went out to and i dint no and i had ppl behind me keep flashin lights at me then i relized y so change the fuse quickly and yea makes sure wires arent tuching
