yes my 2000 civic si was stolen one night and recovered thanks to low jack that i didnt even know i had. so, my question to you uys at ht. if the car has been hotwired, an u still start ur car with the key? and what wires do you cross to start the car. no bullshit i would not wish even my worst enemy to get their car stolen. so please help.
if your car was stolen and u need to know what wires they spliced and crossed then just look for two wires that were stripped and thats your answer. nobody is gonna put that info on here because nobody is gonna help theives out that might be looking at this, you might get more answers if u post a pic to show u actually own the 99-00 si

Cuz you don't need to neccessarily splice wires, I wont get into specifics, but you could start one with a philips and a flat head screwdriver.

That's not necessarily true either. Some one could easily put it back together. I'm sure in the haste of trying to steal a car some one might complete demolish the column, however if you take your time it's still salvageable.
By the way I'm not a crook. My friend bought a theft recovery 95 dx coupe from a friend. He moved out to las vegas and the car was stolen and basically stripped in the first week he was there. So he lost his job since he called off for two weeks and once it was recovered he had to move back to IL since he ran out of money. Sold the car to my friend with out replacing all the parts broken in the column. The bottom of the column hangs down just because one of the tabs broke. The ignition is slightly askew in the column but to the naked eye you wouldn't notice anything.
