With the pending build of the Civic EX, it's time to put the CRX up for sale. So now that I'm in the process of swapping parts to the new car here's what's for sale:
1989 CRX Si ITA roller For Sale $2,750.00
1st and two podiums at Daytona along with a pole qualifying
2 rookie year podiums at RA
1 rookie year ECR podium at CMP
1:45's at the ARRC (this would be enough to win 99% of the regional RA races)
2:22's at Daytona
The Good:
-Current SCCA logbook
-Straight body. No known serious hits. Aligns straight.
-Really nice 8pt custom cage. Has NASCAR driver side bars and "X" bars on passenger side. Plenty of room around the driver and no bars too close.
-SFI/FIA legal roll cage padding where needed
-This is a proven competitive chassis (reference the Moser's 1-2 ARRC finish).
-Sunroof "plugged"
-Interior sound deadening removed
-Laminex on most of the leading surfaces of the car and parts of the cage.
-Exterior and interior repainted S2000 silver
-Fuel neck "flap" has been cut-out to expedite pit stop gas fills.
-Comes with Cobra seat, G-Force harness, and window net in the car (belts will need to be replaced for upcoming season but would be fine for HPDE).
-Comes with stock suspension.
-Comes with stock type wheels/tires.
-RTA bushings replaced with Mugen parts during mid-2006.
-Rear brakes and wheel cylinders replaced mid-2006.
-Spherical Radius Rod bearings.
-Recent front upper and lower ball joints
-Momo shift **** and pedal covers
-Basic 3" brake ducting
-Minimum weight of 2250. Weighs in at 2252 with 1/3 tank gas, 40lbs of lead, spare tire, and a 205# driver.
-two spare rebuildable sets of front uprights and calipers, spare partially used pads, stock rear bar, rebuildable head, intake manifold, etc
The Bad:
-Has a crinkled driver front fender (The door is unmolested)
-Front bumper cover could stand to be replaced. It is functional but not cosmetically "ideal"
-Partial tire donut on the pass side of the car
Can Include for additional $$:
-Stock engine/tranny (engine runs but smokes... was thought to be headgasket but is more likely a stuck injector. Can have CMS diagnose or completely rebuild the engine/tranny for additional $$.)
-New front bumper cover and fender (painted or primed)
-Full race suspension (SPSS3 Koni's, GC coilover's and springs, ST rear bar)
Car is currently located at CMS World HQ in Burlington, NC. Shipping thru CMS can be arranged if needed...
You can buy this roller and be racing very soon for very cheap!! Alternatively, you can spend a little more and have CMS give you a turn key, ready to run product that is still cheaper than other "complete" cars for sale
I'll try and get some current pics from Cameron at CMS in the near future.

Please PM or post any questions.
Christian
PS
Although I have clear title to this car it is not tagged and probably not street legal (although I suppose that it could be made legal). This car has been "track only" since being caged.
