Tyres/ Euro Accord CG6 '01 1,8 VTEC 100KWt
Hi guys, i'd like to ask some question,
as a gift i got a set of brand new tyres, Continental Premium Contact SSR (run flat) 205/55 R16, the standard tyre size is 195/65 R15, the new tyres seem very heavy and tough, is it safe for suspension or they will kill it in a a short time, I ask this 'cause the roads in where I live are awfull.

</TD></TR></TABLE> I was just kidding.
The tires shouldn't kill your suspension, just stay away from bad potholes and take it easy in the bad areas if you're really worried about it.

Understood your joke
just kidding too, the size doesn't worry me too much, but the weight and the fact that the tires seem very stiff (if not mistakin' the side walls are from kevlar or some very rigid material)

If its a stiffer sidewall ur handling will be better, an just like the previous guys said its alright as long as u dont hit any pot holes, and try to avoid bad areas, or slow down, its like that with any car no matter if its soft or hard. The ride might become more bumpy since u dont have that cushioning anymore, from expirience i had a 2000 acura TL, honda inspire for europe/japan, an the tires were too saggy, they did this for the ride comfort, but i hated it personally. As for ur run flat tires, thats what run flat means, a reinforced sidewall that keeps the tire semi inflated shape so u can still drive on it (there are limits to how long and how fast u can drive with it being flat).
