That sucks, but posting it here a month lately, as dickheadish as it sounds, isnt really gonna help. That thing was stripped and destroyed within the first 36 hours. It was either drove to jersey or Philly. Cars here when they are stolen either end up in Reading or Philly.

Nobody wants a hot car for 36 hours.

Why do people always write EM1 along with the year and/or the model of the car? The whole reason for saying EM1 is so you don't have to list anything else about the model. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the EM1 is only one exact car, right?

EM1s would be all (factory) 6th gen Civic coupes with B16As.
'99-'00 Si (US)
'99-'00 SiR (Canada)
'99-'00 VTi (Europe)
They come in an array of colors and different countries get some different options. The general look of the cars are all the same though (standard front lip, wheels - not all get the upper grille the US gets).
Writing the chassis code allows you to say the year range, engine choice, standard options list, and possibly the body style... in only three characters. The chassis code also narrows certain specifics. Such as we know this car was red, blue or black (unless repainted). We know it had a tall spoiler (if it had one at all and it was factory). We know it was a manual.
Etc. and so forth.
