i would think that a cel would come on if the spark plugs had no wire on it. jk it might be a misfire code.

holy fu*k batman change your valve cover gasket and spark plu grommets.
alittle misfire eh? make sure you blow compressed air into the hole with the spark plugs still in. Keep a rag around the air blower/hole so you don't get oil all over you

If it was a misfire, how would the car feel or sound? The car runs normal or doesnt sound weird. My friend got the cel off with his snap-on scanner, would it come back on if something was really wrong.

there is a link at the top of the page, codes and how to get them are all in there. that code is not, so i don't know. i would say go to an autozone, or advanced and see if they would tell you with their book of codes.

I know resetting the CEL wont fix the problem but would it come back on, if there was really a problem.
Just change the spark plugs.

Does anyone know why the spark plugs wires looks like they buried - just three of them. Do those have to be replace if so every when XXXXmiles.

Those are not even CLOSE to the right plugs for that engine. You should be using NGK or Denso iridiums. They also look like your engine is running a little on the lean side to me due to the overall whiteness of the plugs. This indicates they could also be the wrong heat range for the engine. Change those plugs ASAP.

it's not the platinum part thats bad about those plugs.. it's the not-NGK/denso part that bothers me. many hondas call for platinums from the factory (most V6s, and some others here and there)

looks like your ignitor boot thing is arcing to the wall of the plug tube. that's usually what those light tan areas are. get new plugs and find out if that code is for your cat or something else. i don't recognize that code though...

each one of those is a coil.

K-series use one coil per spark plug.

i don't think they are cheap...

i suggest going to k20a.org... and asking your question.

I found them at Kragen around 85 to 100 bucks each, is it worth it to get the $100(Niehoff Ignition Dis Coil ) ones then the $85( GP Sorensen Ignition Coil) ones.

I dont care what it cost for the coil, a lot cheaper than buying a new head.

Get it checked at Autozone or some other parts store if you can't find out what that code means. I know I've never seen a code starting with HA.

For an '03-'07 Honda Element, (K24A4) the stock plug is an NGK Laser Series IZFR6K11 (6994). The gap should be .044. Those plugs have iridium center electrodes and platinum pad ground electrodes.

Those plug wires almost look burned, as if oil was leaking onto them during motor operation. The seals are maybe shot? Also, like everyone else mentioned, get the right plugs.
